The archaeological site of Todos Los Santos church in Heping Island, Keelung, northern Taiwan, could be recognized as the most important result of the historical site excavation in Taiwan in recent years. The project aims to make the archaeological site resistant to natural hazards, especially typhoons, and to pass on local history and archaeological knowledge to the public. More importantly, it is hoped that the site will be branded as a reversal of the long-standing local imagery of shipbuilding and become a point of entry for the promotion of local history or archaeological education in the area.
