Residential Architecture

Jeju Gallery House was inspired by the adjacent Dongjabok, a cultural heritage. The initial plan for a rental house was revised to create a cultural facility with exhibition and residential area on top. The exterior resembles Dongjabok with black color and round shape. The gallery has a white background to highlight the exhibited artworks, and the residence offers views of the Jeju sea and Mt.Halla. Despite difficulties in allowing for interaction between public and private sectors, Jeju Gallery House still provides a space for visitors to enjoy both cultural experiences and natural scenery.
