KEY PALETTO Folio

Educational keyboard for tablet learning in school

ELECOM CO., LTD.

Key Paletto Folio is an iPad keyboard case designed for Japanese elementary schools in Japan’s one-device-per-student program. Typing Japanese is unique—children must use the Latin alphabet to input hiragana, katakana, and kanji they are still learning. The Folio solves this with a color-coded key layout and printed guides for Japanese input, helping children learn finger use and letter-sound links. The detachable keyboard prevents breakage during field trips. With its durable design, teachers can easily label, manage parts, and repair units—supporting a safe, joyful learning experience for both teachers and students.
