KITAOKA GROUP HEAD OFFICE BUILDING RENOVATION

Architectural renovation

The concept is Yoshinogawa VALLEY, which is inspired by the Yoshino River, the source of Tokushima's nature, culture, and industry, to create the next flow of work styles from the countryside. The existing building is divided into two parts like a valley on an axis parallel to the Yoshino River. The light from the 50-meter skylight pours in to the first floor, and no lighting is used during the day, while the wind flows into the canyon, allowing workers to work only with ventilation in the middle of the day.
