Kite is an insulin port designed to simplify diabetes management. Kite reduces the burden of injecting insulin, replacing 30–40 individual injections with a weekly soft cannula insertion. Kite allows any injection device to be smart by automatically capturing insulin the dosage. Kite collates blood sugar levels, carb intake and activity information to help patients manage their condition, reducing the emotional and cognitive burden of diabetes management.
