Music Classroom

Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI)

The classroom for music courses at the junior high school, as well as a practice room for choral competitions. However, there were also problems such as water leakages and loud echoes. Over the years, many usage issues arose, and the school also had development of its music courses. The initial stage of the design process attempted to resolve existing issues as well as create a new style of classroom. Imagined that the sounds of students would fill every nook and corner of the classroom while their bodies would be immersed within the space, so we designed here as a space that can be used freely and flexibly and with infinite possibilities.
