Knock Bins are equipped with steel pieces of different lengths on each side, which produce different tones when knocked with a stick, allowing the visually impaired to distinguish between different types of public refuse bins.

JURY STATEMENT

This is a smart and hygienic concept for visually impaired people, allowing them to partake in waste separation. The concept can be applied to several design versions and garbage separation systems.
