KOFFEE MAMEYA -Kakeru- is a new type of café created by barista Eiichi Kunitomo based on the concept of making everyday coffee into an extraordinary experience. It is located in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Tokyo, in a renovated warehouse, one of the many remnants of a former water transportation hub. The warehouse's exterior, which retains the unique appearance of the place, was kept. Only the newly planned interior was inserted into the building, creating a spatial composition that contrasts the old with the new.
