ALOTEC compact bend

In pipelines with protective liners (e.g. in pneumatic systems for foundry sand) impact absorbers are generally used in narrow bends, they are bulky and must be frequently replaced. They interrupt the even pipe cross section, causing high energy consumption, turbulences and caking. Even with most narrow radii, the wear lining of our “compact bend” follows the cross section of the complete system. ALOTEC linings almost have the hardness of diamonds. Service life is notably increased but energy consumption in pneumatic systems is reduced. Protected by patent.
