KontrapunktKontrapunkt has worked in type design for more than 35 years. Being good at what they do, they wanted to show some of their work throughout the years in a new and innovative way. The solution was an interactive solo exhibition at two Japanese galleries. The exhibition, Kontrapunkt Type, guided visitors through 10 selected typography works, each unfolding with interactive motion and visual effects. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Kontrapunkt also created a new virtual format of the exhibition. Kontrapunkt wishes to invite people everywhere, from Kyoto to New York, to join the experience of Kontrapunkt Type in digital form. All from the comfort and safety of your own home.
