Nearly 300,000 people depend on the water of Lake Tota for domestic consumption. This lake has been affected by various human activities, causing deterioration of its ecological characteristics and water quality. A team of scientists must therefore periodically collect samples to be analyzed in the laboratory. KORE is an AUV designed to facilitate sample collection in Colombia’s largest lake.
