Korea's Greatest Holiday, Chuseok Banner

LOTTE WORLD TOWER planned and designed this street banner to celebrate Chuseok, Korea’s most important holiday. The designers have tried to convey traditional Korean values on signage around the tallest landmark in Korea. Chuseok is a harvest celebration during which people traditionally wish each other well. The banners use Korean folk painting and calligraphy to express these traditional good wishes for enriching the mind and body. The modern graphic design offers an update to the same messages expressed by Koreans from ancient times.
