We want to create a space rooted in the community, one that doesn't just exist for the beach season. With this idea in mind, we started with a request for a 'permanent beach house' and envisioned a hub for interaction that people can visit throughout the year. Using charred cedar that harmonizes with the local landscape, we combined a structure and design that can withstand north winds and weathering.
