KYOKUYO ELECTRIC FACTORY

Factory

This is the headquarters and factory of a company producing electronic components. The design aims to harmonize with the surrounding vineyard landscape and pass on the memory of the land. As part of our passive design and structural strategies, we installed a hybrid roof and production equipment racks resembling grape trellises to let in and control natural light to reduce the environmental impact. The factory offers a new production scenery evoking the vineyard landscape of the past with the sunlight filtering through trellises. We aimed for a factory where all employees can work with pride instead of pursuing productivity inorganically.
