La Luna is an eco-friendly, innovative and exclusive design made of cristobalite minerals and bio-based petroleum solvent-free resin. Open-pit mining process use explosives to retrieve quartz, which pollutes, erodes the earth and endangers biodiversity. La Luna contains no quartz but rather cristobalite, a polymorph of quartz produced from sand extracted from nature and heated with environmental methods. La Luna can be used as a countertop, flooring, or wall cladding. It is hygienic, antibacterial and safe for food. It is also scratch-resistance and nonporous.
