The structure is located in Panji village, named after the topography of the land—created by volcanic activity—resembling cardboard (Panji in Korean). The surroundings gave the design its architectural identity. The water space was laid out to look like it was floating on the sea, expanding the boundaries of the architecture to the sea. The architectural texture, expressing the overlapping joints and waves, interacts with nature and light, creating a variety of amazing images. The black metal objects resemble volcanic fragments and stars shining above the rocks and the black sea.
