Label Design Grauburgunder Kress
Wine label
Weingut Kress KG
Although Pinot Gris is categorized as a white wine, this varietal is captivating for its reddish-grey grape skin. This label design refers both to the unusual color of the grape skin and that this wine gets its special finish through maturation in oak barrels. In Germany, Pinot Gris goes by many names, sometimes "Ruländer" or "Blauer Riesling" – indeed, there are over 220 synonyms for this grape. The label also uses chalk lettering, a nod to the use of chalk on barrels in the wine cellar.
