Lamartine Hotel

Located in the Taksim Talimhane district, Lamartine Hotel was renovated by Designist with an additional building. The hotel was named after the poet Alphonse de Lamartine, who gave his name to the street, lived in Istanbul in the 1800s, and produced many works about Istanbul. It once belonged to the singer "Mermaid" Eftalya. The building's original name was Şen Apartments; it has become one of the most striking buildings in the area with the "lyre" figure at the entrance.
