LAUFEN Clean Coat (LCC) is a surface finish developed by LAUFEN in order to maintain the impeccable appearance of ceramics. LCC is a silicate ceramic vitreous coating baked on over the original glaze. With a coarseness value of 4 nm, the LCC-enhanced surfaces are much smoother and harder, almost indestructible compared to conventional ceramic glazes. Grime and bacteria dont stand a chance on the pore-free surfaces and are simply rinsed away by the running water. The hydrophilic ceramic is resistant to aggressive chemicals. Thus, ensures highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene on a permanent, environmentally friendly basis.
