With the need for saving energy and giving children a better night sleep, MUJI commissioned a new product under the title LED Timer Light. Using soft unbreakable silicone, a uniform warm light can be controlled by either on / off or a timer function for 30 or 60 minutes. During this period the night light gradually dims until it turns off. Using a LED light source helps to further to reduce energy use. It's form is influenced by lanterns found in Japan.
