The “Gold” 21:9 proportion format in a 50” display is designed optimally for movie content with no “black bars”. This is coupled with a high performance picture quality and two-sided Ambilight to further establish this new category within the TV market. The brushed aluminum silver front and base are compact in size and are part of the Philips 2011 Identity approach of “Interior Fit”. The polished surface below the display is angled for ease of use and contains touch controls alongside 3D sensors. The base can be used as a table stand or wall mounted to allow both offset positioning with swivel or very tight application on the wall.
