Notebook PC

The CF-R3 is built around a functional design that aims at being lightweight and user-friendly, but with a long battery life and good durability – i.e. the features business users demand of a mobile notebook PC. It has a 10.4" XGA LC display, weighs around 990 g, has nine hours of battery life, with a HDD that is sealed in shock-resistant material. In addition, many new and original features are condensed into this compact and functional design, including a "Bonnet Structure" made of thin magnesium alloy that makes the notebook both light and durable; a "Circular Scrolling Touch Pad" that allows users to screen-scroll up and down by tracing the edge of the pad; a "waveform palm rest" which improves the heat release of the PC and reduces the perceived temperature on the palm; and a laser-printed keyboard which ensures that the characters on the keyboard do not wear off with extended use.
