The Lexi Collection's design has been rigorously pared back to create a simple, modernist design. It features a new ceramic cartridge that prevents the hot water heater from being inadvertently activated, ensuring substantial energy savings. The redesigned mixer cartridge does not mix of hot and cold water when the temperature lever is positioned in the middle, the position most commonly used. By the time warm water reaches the mixer, people have already finished washing their hands. Lexi therefore provides warm and hot water only when the lever has been pushed to the left, ensuring that the water heater is not activated unless required.
