“Liangjiu” uses time-tested brewing methods for producing Maotai-flavor liquor, but the unique shape of its packaging is a clear break with tradition. The design relies on a contemporary and simple aesthetic and uses a tinted black glass bottle to protect the spirit from light. The design is also cost-effective as well as ergonomic and easy to hold. The bottle design is based on the word “Liang,” a tribute to Chinese culture symbolizing the pursuit of ingenuity.
