Exhibition utilizing a vacant building

A library-style exhibition as a new perspective the use of vacant building. In recent years, the surroundings have been designated as special economic zone, and high-rise condominiums and office buildings have been rapidly developed on former factory sites. On the other hand, although vacancy rates have declined, many of old warehouses and logistics facilities still exist in this area. The exhibition tried to deepen the relationship between towns and buildings by exploring new perspective to use aged facilities. Inspired by the atmosphere with full of natural sun light, we got the idea of Site-specific library opens only while the sun is up.
