Being trapped in the elevator accounts for half of all elevator accidents. When a passenger is trapped in an elevator, the passenger panics suffers from being dehydrated, lacking oxygen, and finally fear death. To prevent this situation, OTIS grafted emergency water, oxygen supply, and aroma air purifier into a handrail in an elevator to protect a passenger’s life and relieve anxiety until a passenger is rescued. When the emergency button is pressed, a passenger can separate the bottle of water from the handrail and drink it. A bottle of water without plastic packaging and braille for the visually impaired were applied to the product.
