Life Slide
Rescue Equipment
This rescue vehicle can improve rescue efficiency and save more lives. It features slides, a crane and a rescue ladder. A folded telescopic rescue slider is mounted on the top, whose height and angle can be adjusted. The rescue slides are divided into three sections. A buffer area between the sections can effectively slow down the speed of descent. The angle of the slide is 30°, which has proven to be absolutely safe. The insulation coating on the surface of the slides is heat and fire-resistant. A ventilation device on the top protects people against flue gas.
An aircraft emergency technique applied to buildings on fire. The slide method is quicker and safer than the fireman's lift on a ladder. It is a strong concept with available technology. It will need to operate fast in order to access many points of a building facade.
WINNER STATEMENTI am very honored to receive the IF STUDENT DESIGN AWARD 2016. First of all, I want to thank my mentor, Professor He Renke. He's a great mentor who's supported me in achieving a new level of ability. I will continue to try improving the world through design.
