LightPoints
LEDŽs inside conductible laminated flat glass
LightPoints offer LEDs the unique ability to float freely inside glass, while emitting light. Unlike similar optical techniques that rely on visible conductor components to supply power inside laminated glass, LightPoints are powered by low voltage DC current that runs through nearly invisible conductors on top of the glass. A transparent base glass with conductive capabilities that contains LEDs is included in the PVB laminate that also includes a cover glass. The LEDs can be put to use in a flexible manner and can be offered in many colors. The glass units are available in different sizes. They can be equipped with various numbers of LED light points which can be programmed just to customers preferences. In addition, the PVB laminated glass satisfies all of the regulatory requirements that apply to linear and point-mounted glazing.
