Tawainese people are often shy and traditionally would wrap gifts with paper, the insides of which contained a hidden message. Untying the red ribbons on this gift box reveals a hidden message on the box's inside, a re-interpretation of the understated, discreet ways the Tawainese use to express their emotions in the giving of a gift.
