LINE Doctor is a teleconsultation service on the LINE app. Since COVID-19 hit, more medical institutions have been preparing to introduce teleconsultations to prevent hospital-acquired infections. LINE Doctor aims to help medical institutions provide a medical experience where they can choose a proper consultation for each patient's symptoms and environment. The design focuses on high usability for both institutions and end-users: its simplicity lowers the bar for getting started. The LINE Friends characters used in the communication tool between institutions and patients make it more intuitive and familiar.
