Linear Track System

Conveyance system

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation

This electromagnetic conveyance system is an alternative to a belt conveyor. It combines high speed, precision, and load capacity to realize the aims of automating variable-mix variable-volume production, being used in various industrial fields, and saving space. Multiple carriers can be moved individually at high speeds along the track, and the length and shape of the route are adjustable according to the combination of units. A configuration with magnets on the carriers and multiple coils on the track is achieved via exclusively developed small control drivers. The compact ribbon-like shape has a smoothly connected neat appearance.
