The designers used ochre-brown andesite stone veneers to cover the steel structure, and this became the most striking feature of the living room. The use of concave-convex stone edging, which is usually cut off, and metal slabs embedded for displaying art gives this interior a uniquely architectural quality. This contrasts with the extensive use of technology in the intelligent environmental control system to adjust lighting, air conditioning, temperature, and humidity.
