Despite being situated in a basement, the space suffuses an airy, tranquil, and primitive ambiance, away from the sense of claustrophobic. Natural light penetrates, and the hollow-patterned walls blend with bamboo windows, infusing a refreshing botanical feel. Wood tones, concrete elements, and skylight effect complement the solemn main hall and Buddha Hall, reflecting the notion of 'may the Buddha's light shine’ in the scripture.
