Piega Luce was designed to excel in terms of size, slimness, quality of light output and decorative potential, giving the impression that it is an object “draped” over light. Enclosed by a long and slim sheet body that wraps around it, light is allowed to subtly escape from the openings on the side and bottom. An advanced light guide technique transports the LED light to the exterior of the body and distributes it without glare, while extrusion techniques from the car industry ensure stability and rigidity. It can be topped with walnut veneer for a state of the art finish, and is energy saving, with an LED lifetime exceeding 20,000 hours.
