The lithium iron phosphate battery is likely to replace the lead-acid battery as the starter battery in automobiles. It is not only more eco-friendly but also provides greater power and reliability, especially for vehicles equipped with start-stop technology. This product, however, goes far beyond a normal lithium battery. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity allowing users to check their battery status in real-time using a proprietary app. This also provides voltage and temperature information. An added safety feature is over-voltage protection which switches off the charging circuit in the event that the alternator or regulator fails.
