Fashion Design

Sashimi, a Japanese tradition where fishermen serve seafood in local restaurants while the remains keep the creatures alive underwater, is seen as cruel. It echoes the dolphin killings in "The Cove," a documentary on Japan's brutal dolphin hunts. This prompts reflection on humanity's actions. Peiyang Li's spring/summer collection, through patterns, prints, and ruching (sewing elastic behind fabric), in combination with Greek Astrology, represents the pain and suffering of these creatures, urging us to reconsider our traditions and the cycle of violence between sea life and humans.
