Livingreen
Restaurant interior
Livingreen Group Inc.The building located at 76 Chaozhou Street in Taipei City, completed in 1963, is a former police station and dormitory. By 1990, the building had been standing idle for 20 years. The design project used original materials and elements to create a new use as a restaurant. The designers retained all the original window placements, increasing the window area on the east side to add more natural lighting. The exterior wall was painted with Pantone 5463, a vintage color that gives the old building a new role in the community. The original building was formerly off-limits to residents but is now a new landmark in this developing part of the city.
