Drinking water unit
The objective was to provide hygiene and comfort for the user while keeping the technology simple. The conventional 20-liter water container used in cooling units is heavy, bulky and needs to be placed upside down, allowing for unwanted contact between the outside of the container and the water to be consumed. Its installation requires skill, strength and a reasonable height, making it difficult for some people to install. The Liz unit hides the container and positions it below the cooling unit with its opening facing upwards. The water is captured by a pipe. A low-cost water pump raises it from the container to the reservoir. When the push tap is pressed, it slowly moves outwards, dispensing chilled water. Another push interrupts the water flow. An LED indicates the remaining water level.
