Localand Chengdu

Cultural space

Localand is a cultural and art space in Chengxiang Ancient Town in Chengdu designed by Song Qun. The style of the building merges traditional Western Sichuan architectural features with modern design. There are two floors with nearly 10,000 square meters. Localand takes "local memory+" as its central concept, cooperating with pioneers in the forefront of culture, art, architecture, and design at home and abroad. For the opening, Song Qun curated seven simultaneous exhibitions. They were about rural architecture, local history, writing and publishing, and personal memories.
