The PuShang Hotel and Spa is an urban resort located along the Wuyuan Bay coastline in Xiamen, China. LAYAN worked closely with Urban Resorts Concepts to deliver a luxury resort environment that is both a spatially and commercially unique offering. The design makes its own "place" with a balance of traditional Chinese design principles, local materials and craftsmanship, and modern architectural sensibilities. It has a seamless engagement with the surrounding natural landscapes which are integral to the ambiance of gentle luxury -- where even the most dynamic and active spaces nurture an intimate and personal atmosphere.
