London Wave
Floating Solar Integrated Urban Architecture
As a part of London's ambitious target to supply 15% of energy from local renewables by 2030, London Wave is a sustainable and self-efficient project to generate solar power for neighboring electrical vehicle park. While conventional floating solar usually deteriorates waterscape, the project explores how this widely-used system can be re-designed to enhance energy efficiency, shape waterfront public space, stimulate urban regeneration and create iconic city image. In the near future, we expect a powerful artificial "London Wave" arrive in the tranquil inner harbor of London City Airport, as a brand-new image for this hi-tech-famous city.
