The Longshan building used to be a market; it has nine floors above ground and two underground. The project was to convert the first, second, and third floors into a temporary library space for the Library of Cultural Affairs Bureau, Hsinchu City. The long-term adaptive reuse project is to turn the former market into the Hsinchu regional library.
