Education in Prison

Education in prison is failing over 80% of the prison population. In 2021 a Ministry of Justice report found that at least 90% of the prison population (86,000) are on the neurodiverse spectrum. The current education offering in prison does not consider those who are neurodiverse. Can design provide a pathway forward through collaboration and socially driven design to make something more nuanced and supportive of the protected characteristics of the prison population?
