Orientation system
Lufthansa AGs headquarters, designed by Ingenhoven and Partner, is immediately next to Frankfurts airport. The project encompassed the development of a building-orientated identity, an orientation system and all communication measures. The graphics reflect Lufthansas corporate design and establish a relationship between the buildings special features and the corporation. Orientation occurs out of the combination of sign elements and intuitive, typographical measures, integrated into the architecture, that respond to the buildings particular materiality and emphasise their relationship to another.
