The Lufthansa Cargo Upcycling Edition is about creating lasting design objects from discarded aviation materials. The resulting objects are designed to show that it is possible to produce appealing and desirable objects from old materials. At the same time, their design language relates to air freight and thus to the Lufthansa Cargo brand. Each product has a unique patina due to its previous use in aviation. This distinctive surface makes each object one of a kind, allowing customers to own a piece of aviation history.
