Working jacket

This project is focused on “User-Centered Telecom Sites”. It´s in collaboration between Telog and the Swedish company Ericsson, one of the leading providers of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to service providers. The outcome is a jacket with an integrated light used by professional workers in low-lighting environments. Lighting positioned around the body creates a broad spread of light while the wrist-light enables the user to focus on details. The jacket is equipped with ”anti-dazzling” technology that reduces the risk of casting glare on colleagues.

JURY STATEMENT

This looks like a better and more convenient solution than a headlight. Adjustment in light intensity and the ease of use (i.e. adjustment while working) is controlled by the person giving feedback. I like the additional video, well done!
