The M500 police in-car video system captures and analyzes video and audio evidence in and around police vehicles. It monitors environments and situations to provide enhanced awareness and data capture for police officers. A control interface, cameras, and neural net video processor/storage device provide license plate recognition, backseat occupant monitoring, and exterior environment capture and analysis. This system unifies many complex devices into one intuitive system that provides a tool to enhance police safety, productivity, and situational awareness.
