COVID-19 has created in the healthcare sector a new need for large numbers of ICUs – rooms with the highest standards of medical-grade materials, together with dedicated systems for effective containment of the virus. The MAC ward has been developed as an airtight system with negative pressure capabilities, to restrain any potential contaminations to the outside. MINIWIZ created a medical building kit, which includes a collection of interlocking parts that can be easily converted/configured into various wards. With fast deployment in mind, the kit is highly mobile and designed for air shipping, allowing the structure to be assembled within 24 hours, from component sourcing to functional wards.
