The storyline for the exhibits in the Macau Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo was the search for the magic rabbit lantern as a fantastical journey through the history of Macau. Adopting an innovative mix of 2D and 3D presentation methods and multimedia projections, multiple-layer exhibits were created that contributed to an enriched and fascinating viewing experience for visitors. The gigantic tulle enveloping of the atrium, a huge space in the center of the architecture where elevators provided access to the different levels, was used for 360° projections of animated films creating stunning effects.
