Packaging

Underlining the Asian heritage of the brand, these gift boxes are modeled after traditionally bound books. The sleeve features three auspicious animals – the wind lion god, the hoopoe bird, and the otter – rendered in colorful silk embroidery. The inner box holding the knife slides out sideways. When closed, its protruding side resembles the spine of a book. Three boxes, each in a “classic” and a “flamboyant” variant, represent the creatures’ realms – land, air and water. Thanks to the strong emphasis on Kinmen’s local culture, both versions make perfect souvenir gift boxes.
